With that warning out of the way it is definitely worth playing it will not take you more than 10-20 minutes to do so although you may want to play it through more than once as there are a couple of different ways for it to play out that you will probably only discover by a second play through.
The static speaks my name is a short but free and full game, I will warn you now it touches on some very dark themes and is not advisable for children or those easily upset.
